A vitreous enamel surface finish is achieved by fusing glass particles to sheet metal or cast iron by firing it at a temperature in excess of 800°C. This results in a surface that is incredibly hardwearing to all the elements. It is temperature resistant (upto 800°C) and chemical resistant with exceptional colour stability. The finished enamelled product is easy to maintain, clean and hygienic meaning it can be used for many applications internally and externally.

We have a state of the art enamelling plant including colour matching laboratory, glass milling, spray shop and furnacing for sheet steel and cast iron applications. Our vitreous enamel is available in a wide range of colours – plain or with screen printed graphics (block and 4 colour photographic images).

Graffiti can be easily removed using solvents without affecting the graphics or enamel and its these unique qualities that make vitreous enamel an ideal application for everything from signage to architectural panelling to cast iron baths and range cookers .
